Abdelgowad, Murray enter transfer portal
MBB: The duo joins Brian Moore Jr. in leaving the Racer program
On the day the transfer portal officially opens, a pair of Murray State players have thrown their names into it. Verbal Commits is reporting junior forward Malek Abdelgowad and sophomore forward Sam Murray II are in the portal.
After playing two seasons at South Plains Community College, Abdelgowad transferred to Murray State before this past season. The 6’10 forward played a season-high 24 minutes at Mississippi State on December 13th, scoring six points and grabbing five rebounds.
