Another future Racer breaks scoring record
WBB: Grace Billington is now her school's all-time leading scorer
Grace Billington, who signed as part of Murray State’s 2024 recruiting class, is now her high school’s all-time leading scorer.
Billington scored 18 points to lead Moberly High School to a 69-46 win over Centralia on Saturday night. The 18 points helped Billington break the school’s previous all-time scoring record of 1,719 points. The 5’10 guard also chipped with ten rebounds and six assists in the win.
The Moberly, Missouri native has been an All-District honoree in each of the last three seasons, and has been named All-State twice.
Billington joins Jada Cook, Cam Hoover, Adalyn Koelling and Braxcynn Baker as part of Rechelle Turner’s 2024 recruiting class. Thursday night, Koelling became the all-time leading scorer at Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, Missouri.
