Bostick reaches 1,000-point milestone
MBB: The former Racer guard played at Murray State from 2020-22

Former Murray State guard Dionte Bostick recently scored his 1000th career point, as he hit the milestone on December 19th in New Mexico State’s win over Northern New Mexico.
Bostick started his collegiate career at Murray State, playing with the Racers from 2020-22. Bostick started 16 games for the Racers during that 2020-21 campaign, averaging 4.9 points and 2.9 assists per game.
During the following year, when Murray State finished 31-3 and made the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Bostick saw his playing time reduced to fewer than five minutes per contest. In the opening round of the NCAA Tournament against San Francisco, with the Racers dealing with injuries and foul trouble, Bostick’s number was called as he played eight significant minutes at the end of regulation and in overtime to help Murray State get the win and move on to the second round.
When Matt McMahon left Murray State for LSU at the end of the 2021-22 season, Bostick transferred to Cal State Northridge for the next two years, where he started in all 55 games he played with the Matadors. In 2023-24, Bostick averaged a career-high 15.4 points per game for CSN.
This year, Bostick is wrapping up his playing career at New Mexico State, where he’s averaging 8.2 points per game, while starting in seven of 13 games for the Aggies
Along with his 1,000 points, Bostick has also racked up 100 steals, 200 assists, and is 11 now rebounds shy of 300 for his career.
