Josh Bowman, a 6’9 forward from Huntsville, Alabama, posted on social media that he has received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
The rising senior plays for Huntsville High School. Bowman’s high school teammate, Brayden Rivers, announced on X/Twitter back in December that he had also picked up a scholarship offer from the Racers.
According to Bowman’s X/Twitter account, he now has offers from Murray State, Central Arkansas and Division II Alabama in Huntsville.
After a recent AAU event in Carterville, Georgia, Ryze Hoops wrote an article proclaiming Bowman as one of the top performers at the event. Here’s an excerpt:
“Bowman was one of the best frontcourt players in the field this weekend. At 6-foot-9 he always finds ways to be productive and efficient. He's a very good finisher around the rim and can take contact and convert. He can also step out and shoot the ball from the perimeter off the catch. He's a very high level rebounder with a nose for the ball and he was consistently dominant on the glass this weekend. He recently earned a Division I offer from Central Arkansas, but expect that list to grow in the coming weeks.”
Here’s some video from Ryze Hoops of Bowman’s performance in that event:
