WBB: Murray State had seven players score in double-figures in 88-75 win
Murray State beat UT Martin, 88-75, Tuesday night at the CFSB Center to improve to 3-2 on the season. Here’s what you need to know:
Starting in 2010, UT Martin owned the rivalry with Murray State, winning 24 of 28 games. The Racers have seized control in recent years, as they’ve now beaten the Skyhawks four-straight times.
Seven Racers scored in double-figures, led by Katelyn Young’s 15 points and 11 rebounds.
Junior guard Cayson Conner tied her career-high with 11 points.
After never scoring more than five points in a Murray State uniform, junior guard Jenna Walker scored a career-high 11 points against the Skyhawks. She also made a career-best three three-pointers.
The Racers are now 3-0 at home this season.
Murray State’s next game is Friday at Southern Indiana
