DuVall ranked as one of Indiana's best
WBB: The 2027 recruit says she has a scholarship offer from Murray State
The Indianapolis Star has ranked Payton DuVall as the #2 sophomore in the state of Indiana. The newspaer ranked the Top-20 players in the Class of 2027 primarily on college potential, as well as production.
The 6’2 forward announced on X earlier this month, during an unofficial to Murray State, that she had received a scholarship offer from the Racers. According to her X account, along with Murray State, DuVall has offers from Butler, Bowling Green, Southern Indiana, Central Michigan and Cleveland State.
The Indianapolis Star isn’t the only publication see the potential of DuVall. PrepGirlsHoops.com lists DuVall as the #1 power forward and the #2 overall player in the Class of 2027 in the state of Indiana.
Playing for Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis, DuVall averaged 10.5 points as she shot 62% from the floor, grabbed 8.8 rebounds and had 3.4 blocks per game last season as a freshman.
