Former Racer Moore in transfer portal
MBB: Moore will have one year of eligibility remaining as a grad transfer

Former Murray State guard Brian Moore Jr., who played this past season at Norfolk State, is entering the transfer portal. Moore will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.
After playing two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Moore transferred to Murray State. He started 26 of 57 games in his two seasons with the Racers, averaging 8.6 points per game while shooting 46.2% from the field and 29.3% from three-point range.
This season, Moore found a new basketball home at Norfolk State and took a giant leap forward. He averaged 18.1 points per game, while knocking down 54.5% of his shots and 39.4% from beyond the arc. Those numbers helped Moore earn 1st Team All-MEAC honors this season, and he was named the MEAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player as he led Norfolk State back to the NCAA Tournament. As a #16-seed, Norfolk State lost to #1-seed Florida, 95-69, in the opening round of the tournament on Friday. Battling through foul trouble, Moore scored six points in 18 minutes of action against the Gators.
In his Division I career, Moore has scored 1,126 points.
