Future Racer Billington scores 2,000th point

Grace Billington, part of Rechelle Turner’s 2024 recruiting class at Murray State, scored her 2,000th career point Monday.

Billington, who signed with the Racers back in November, led Moberly (MO) High School to a 68-50 win over Mexico High School. With the win, Moberly improved to 23-2 on the season and clinched their third-straight conference championship.

Last month, Billington became Moberly’s all-time leading scorer when she passed Ashley Agee’s mark of 1,719 points.

The 5’10 guard has already twice earned Missouri Class 4A All-State honors.
