Future Racer Hoover scores 1,000th point
WBB: The senior from Ohio joins an elite group at her high school
Future Murray State Racer Cam Hoover scored her 1,000th career point Thursday night. Hoover, who is a senior at Woodridge High School in Ohio, scored 26 points in Woodridge’s 62-17 win over Ravenna High School. Those 26 points helped her become the 7th player in Woodridge program history to reach that milestone.
Hoover, a 6’0 wing, is one of five players to make up Murray State’s 2024 recruiting class. As a junior, Hoover averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
