Future Racer Koelling breaks scoring record
WBB: 2024-25 freshman became school's all-time leading scorer last night
Adalyn Koelling, who signed with Murray State back in November, became her high school’s all-time leading scorer Thursday night.
Koelling, who plays for Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City, Missouri, scored 12 points in the Crusaders’ win over Sedalia Smith-Cotton. She now has 1,325 career points, which breaks the previous school record of 1,320 that had stood for 18 years.
“Thank you to all my great coaches, teammates, and family who have helped me achieve this milestone,” Koelling wrote after the game on X/Twitter. “I couldn’t have done it without you.”
The 6’1 forward is one of five players Murray State Head Coach Rechelle Turner signed back in November as part of her 2024 recruiting class. Koelling is a three-time All-Central Missouri Activities Conference First Team and two-time All-State honoree.
