Murray State will open Missouri Valley Conference Tournament play on Thursday night in Moline against the Bradley Braves.
The #6-seed Racers, who finished with a conference record of 12-8 in their second season in the Missouri Valley Conference, will take on the #11-seed Braves who ended the season 2-18 in the Valley. That game will be the fourth game of the day Thursday in Moline and will be played at roughly 8:30pm.
Murray State swept the regular season series with Bradley. The Racers beat the Braves, 99-52, back on January 4th in Murray. Earlier today, Murray State ended their conference slate with an 81-64 win in Peoria.
The winner of the matchup on Thursday will face the #3-seed Missouri State Lady Bears on Friday in the tournament quarterfinals. The Racers and Lady Bears split their two regular season meetings, with the road team winning reach time.
