Rechelle Turner now has her fifth commitment in her 2024 recruiting class as 6’0 wing Cam Hoover has announced she’ll play her college basketball at Murray State.
The rising senior from Woodridge High School in Peninsula, Ohio averaged 15.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, 2.6 steals, and 1.6 assists last season. She shot 51.2% from two-point range, 37.0% from beyond the arc, and 63.3% from the charity stripe.
Turner offered Hoover on May 22nd, and Hoover arrived on campus for her official visit just two weeks later.
Hoover had offers from multiple midwestern schools including Wisconsin, Youngstown State, Akron, Buffalo, Cleveland State, Kent State and Toledo.
Hoover joins Jada Cook, Grace Billington, Adalyn Koelling and Braxcynn Baker as Murray State commitments for the Class of 2024.
