Jones says he has offer from Murray State
MBB: Jones shot 41.6% from three for Barton Community College last season
6’7 guard Lajae Jones posted on X/Twitter that he has received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
A two-time all-state player in Florida, Jones signed with Tarleton State out of high school. He played a total of 61 minutes in ten games during his freshman season, averaging 3.6 points per game.
After one year at Tarleton, Jones transferred to Barton Community College for the 2023-24 season. He averaged 15.2 points, and 9.1 rebounds per game last season for Barton, while shooting 54.3% from the field and 41.6% from three-point range.
Murray State Head Coach Steve Prohm has four scholarships available for the 2024-25 season.
