Koelling is entering transfer portal
WBB: The freshman played in 19 games this season for the Racers

On the first day the women’s transfer portal is open, Murray State’s Adalyn Koelling is the first Racer to announce she’s looking for a new basketball home.
In a post on X Tuesday night, Koelling wrote: “I would like to thank everyone at Murray State University for welcoming me to the family! I would especially like to thank the coaching staff and my teammates. Thank you Racer Nation for the continuous support. With that being said, I have decided to enter the transfer portal.”

The freshman from Jefferson City, Missouri appeared in 19 games for the Racers this season, averaging 4.2 minutes per game.
You don’t see a lot of coaches send well wishes to players going into the transfer portal, but Rechelle Turner showed tonight why she’s not a lot of coaches.
“Thank you for being a part of our record setting season,” Turner wrote on X. “Someone is going to get an amazing teammate and hard-working player. We love you Ada, can’t wait to see what your future holds.”
Koelling scored a total of 14 points this year, with a season-high three points against Evansville on January 26th.
Best of luck moving forward Adalyn!!
