MBB: The future Racer earned Tennessee Class 1A's top honor
Future Murray State Racer Jordan McCullum has been named Mr. Basketball for Tennessee’s Class 1A. The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association announced the award in Murfreesboro on Tuesday.
McCullum led Harriman High School to a 27-3 record and a trip to the TSSAA Class 1A Sectional this season.

McCullum scored more than 2,000 points and grabbed more than 1,000 rebounds in his career. The future Racer is listed as a Top-150 prospect in the 2024 recruiting class by Rivals and 247 Sports. Along with DJ Shine, McCullum is part of the highest-rated signing class in modern recruiting history for Murray State’s men’s program.
