Miller officially signs with Racers
MBB: The rising senior is the first signee for Head Coach Ryan Miller
Four days after publicly committing to finish his college career at Murray State, Mason Miller has put pen to paper and is officially a member of the Racer program.
"We are very excited to have Mason join us at Murray State," Ryan Miller said in a statement. Ryan Miller is not only Murray State’s new head coach, but also Mason’s uncle. "Mason is family, but more than that, he was an outstanding student-athlete at Creighton and it made sense that he joins our team in Murray. Mason is an outstanding shooter and will be a great teammate."
Ryan Miller played the last three seasons at Creighton, where he started 37 of 101 games for the Bluejays. During his sophomore season, Miller led the Big East in three-point shooting, as he knocked down 45.4% of his shots from the beyond the arc.
The 6’9 Miller broke his leg last summer, and was unable to find that same form this past season from the outside. Despite his struggles as a junior, Miller is still a 37.4% three-point shooter for his career.
Before signing to play at Creighton, Miller was a Tennessee Mr. Basketball in 2021, helping lead Houston High School to their first-ever state championship.
Miller is the first player to officially sign with new head coach Ryan Miller for the 2025-26 season.
Hey when are we going to out who is coming back from last year's team?
