Milton says he's coming to Murray State
MBB: The senior guard averaged 17.0 PPG last year at Arkansas-Pine Bluff
It’s been a successful recruiting weekend for Murray State Head Coach Steve Prohm, as he has now grabbed two commitments for the 2024-25 season in the last 24 hours.
Arkansas-Pine Bluff senior guard Kylen Milton announced on X/Twitter Sunday morning he has committed to Murray State.
The 6’4 guard from Monticello, Arkansas started his career at Western Kentucky, where he played in nine games during the 2020-21 season. At the end of his freshman year, Milton transferred to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, where he started 63 of 88 games over the last three seasons for the Lions.
This past season, Milton started all 29 games that he played, as he was second on the team in scoring with 17.0 PPG, shooting 50.5% from the field, 35.1% from three and 73.7% from the free throw line. Milton was also second on the team in rebounding with 6.6 RPG.
Here are some of Milton’s highlights from last year:
In the non-conference last year, Milton scored 34 points at Missouri, 24 at Oklahoma, 13 at Gonzaga, and 10 at UConn. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
With Milton’s addition, Prohm still has two more scholarships to fill for the 2024-25 season.
