Moore commits to Norfolk State
MBB: The junior guard spent the last two seasons with the Racers
Brian Moore Jr. announced on social media Friday that he will finish his college career next season at Norfolk State.
Moore spent the last two seasons at Murray State. The 6’1 guard averaged 9.2 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists last season for the Racers. While Moore shot 46.5% from the field last season, he struggled from beyond the arc making just 5-of-26 three-pointers (19.2%). He entered the transfer portal on March 11th.
Against Evansville in January, Moore scored his 1500th collegiate point, combining his time between Murray State and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
Moore’s best game in a Racer uniform came on February 1, 2023 at home against Belmont. Moore scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists in Murray State’s win that night over the Bruins.
Hey do we have a new committ today?
I REALLY hate to see this work out in this fashion. Really felt Brian could have been a key for the team. Wish him every success wherever he goes.
