Mullins will stay on Murray State's staff
MBB: Ryan Miller says he's retaining Mullins on his first staff in Murray

New Murray State Head Coach Ryan Miller says he’s bringing back Assistant Coach Brendan Mullins to be on his staff next season.
Miller told Creighton radio voice John Bishop that Mullins will stay in Murray for a second year. (Fast-forward to the 17:00 of this podcast to listen to the entire interview.)
“(Mullins’ brother Bryan) coaches at DePaul, and (I’ve) known (Bryan) for a long time,” Miller told Bishop. “(He) does a great job. So they'll be able to give me the ins and outs of Murray State Athletics, because I've never been to Murray a day in my life. So it'll be interesting to get there, get my feet on the ground, and see what we're working with.”
Mullins came to Murray State to work for Steve Prohm prior to last season, after spending the previous five years at Southern Illinois. He has also had assistant coaching stops at Illinois State, UIC, Green Bay and Wright State.
WOWT’s Clayton Collier reported last night that Miller will be hiring Alabama State Assistant Coach Mardracus Wade to join his staff at Murray State as well.
Miller will finish out the season as an assistant coach at Creighton before he turns 100% of his attention to the Racers. Creighton defeated Louisville on Thursday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bluejays will face #1-seed Auburn on Saturday at 6:10pm CDT in Lexington, KY.
Mullins is a great fit for our program. Glad he’s still a Racer! Bob
So happy for Brendan and the Racers!
