Murray State/SIU game moved to Carbondale
MBB: The power outages on campus force another schedule change this week

After power outages on Murray State’s campus forced the Racer men to move their game with Northern Iowa to Nashville on Monday night, they’re now dealing with another schedule change.
Wednesday’s game with Southern Illinois, which was supposed to be played in Murray, will instead be moved to Carbondale and the Banterra Center.
Murray State Athletics released the following statement on Monday night:
After the most recent updates received from campus about the ongoing power outage and a thorough review of potential game locations, Murray State men's basketball's game against Southern Illinois scheduled for Wednesday evening will now be played at the Banterra Center in Carbondale. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
This decision was made after exhausting all potential options and keeping the threat of potential severe weather that could impact the region in mind. It is not uncommon for the visiting team to assume hosting duties in such events.
Wednesday night's contest will be treated as a Murray State home game.
Tickets from the SIU home game at the CFSB Center will be honored at the Banterra Center by showing a valid ticket (digital ticket or printed ticket) at the door. Section 102 will be reserved for Murray State fans, with all other sections in the arena being general admission.
Fans currently without tickets will be able to purchase tickets at the door for $5, while parking outside the Banterra Center will be free for all game patrons.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and via radio on Froggy 103.7 and on GoRacers.com. Live stats will also be available to fans.
Any additional information or changes to the contest will be made on GoRacers.com.
