MVC releases women's conference slate
WBB: Murray State opens conference play December 29th with Illinois State
The Missouri Valley Conference released the composite schedule for women’s conference games for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Unlike the men who play Valley games before Christmas in the middle of their non-conference schedule, the women play all of their non-conference games before beginning their 20-game conference gauntlet.
With the 12-team league, Murray State will play home-and-home series with nine Valley opponents, but they will play two teams just one time. This season, those teams are Illinois State and Bradley. The Racers will open conference play at home on December 29th with Illinois State, and then travel to Peoria on February 20th to take on the Braves.
Murray State’s 29-game regular season schedule is now complete. While some game times have been announced, a full list of times and where those games will be broadcast will be provided in the coming weeks. As a reminder, once again this season, CFSB is the presenting sponsor for Murray State Women’s Basketball, and all Racer home games will free of charge to attend.
