MBB: In his second tenure in Murray, Steve Prohm is trying to pay it forward
Four months ago, TJ Sapp stepped down from being a high school basketball coach to take a new path in life.
“I was going to start selling life insurance,” Sapp said.
Before he could get knee-deep into the world of term and whole life, Sapp got a phone call from former Murray State Assistant Coach James Kane. Sapp played under both Kane and Head Coach Steve Prohm at Murray State from 2013-15. Sapp said Kane used the phone call to play matchmaker for his old boss.
