Racers add another home game to schedule

As we continue to wait for Murray State’s men to release their 2023-24 non-conference games, for now, we are forced to reverse-engineer their schedule after their future opponents release their schedules. That exact scenario has allowed us to see who the Racers will open this season against.

Murray State will kick off the 2023-24 season at home against NAIA opponent Midway. The Eagles released their schedule yesterday.

We also learned earlier this week that the Racers will officially be playing in the Fort Myers Tip-Off Event during Thanksgiving week. Appalachian State announced their game with the Racers on Wednesday, November 22nd. Some deductive reason from App State’s schedule would lead me to believe Murray State will play UNC Wilmington on Monday, November 20th, but that has yet to be officially announced.

Here are Murray State’s non-conference games that have been publicly announced so far for the 2023-24 season:

• November 1st vs. TBA opponent (at Racer Arena)

• November 6th vs. Midway

• November 14th vs. Western Kentucky

• November 20th vs. UNC Wilmington (Fort Myers Tip-Off Event — not confirmed)

• November 22nd vs. Appalachian State (Fort Myers Tip-Off Event)

• December 9th at Austin Peay
