Racers receive votes in first Mid-Major poll
MBB: Murray State opens season Monday with Midway
The Mid-Major Top 25 preseason poll is out and Gonzaga (who is not a Mid-Major, no matter what you want to say) is the #1 team in the country. Murray State received two votes in the poll. That’s good for 62nd-place overall.
While the Racers will need to earn some national respect from the votes to move up in this poll, many of Murray State’s upcoming opponents are already highly ranked. Here is a list of teams the Racers will play and where they rank in the Mid-Major preseason poll:

#5 Drake (2/18 in Des Moines)
