Reed says she holds Murray State offer
WBB: The 6'2 forward is a prospect in the Class of 2026
Katie Reed, a 6’2 forward from Washington, Indiana, announced on X/Twitter today she now holds a scholarship offer from Murray State.
Reed said she received the offer after taking an unofficial visit to Murray. According to Reed’s X/Twitter account, the Class of 2026 prospect also has an offer from Purdue Fort Wayne.
As a sophomore this past season for Washington High School, Reed led her team with 13.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game. She also shot 45% from the field and 31% from three-point range. After her performance this season, Reed earned a spot on the Southwestern Indiana Sports Network’s Girls Team.
Hi Jeff, as part of Southwestern Indiana Sports Network (swinsports.com) and a Murray State alum, Katie Reed would be an outstanding addition to the Lady Racer team.
