Report: Bleshoy down to final five schools
MBB: The 2025 point guard has Murray State on his short list
Zach Bleshoy, a 6’4 point guard from Marietta, Georgia in the 2025 recruiting class, has narrowed his list of possible schools down to five — and Murray State is one of them, according to 336 Edits on X. The other schools on Bleshoy’s short list are Southern Illinois, Tulane, Chattanooga and Towson.
Bleshoy posted on his X page earlier today pictures of his official visit to Chattanooga. There is no word on when a visit to Murray State could happen.
The guard from Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia has impressed multiple scouts in the past several months. Kerry Willis from ‘On The Radar Hoops’ wrote this after watching Bleshoy play in Atlanta back in March:
“Crafty, sneaky athletic, with a high IQ is Bleshoy. Apparently, he put up big scoring numbers during his junior season and today he showed that he was capable of doing the same alongside some solid players. His creativity in the paint allowed him to continuously make stops at the free throw line, and after he finished a few over the rim defenders backed off him. By staying in the passing lanes coming up deflections it forced the offense to look away from whoever he was guarding. Bleshoy looked to be the most next-level ready prospect on the day.’
In January, Ryze Hoops wrote an article about Class of 2025 prospects in Georgia that were garnering attention. About Bleshoy, they wrote: “Bleshoy has all of the abilities that you like to see from a lead guard with the size and measureables to go with it at 6-foot-4. He can impact games with his scoring and his passing and can consistently make reads out of ball-screen situations. He's a three level scorer and uses his size and physicality to his advantage getting to the rim and finishing. His size and skill level will make him a very valuable recruit in Georgia's 2025 class and don't be surprised if his recruitment takes off when college programs start to focus on their 2025 classes.”
Bleshoy posted on his X account that he received his scholarship offer from Murray State on July 1.
