Report: Harcum commits to Racers
MBB: The 6'3 guard averaged 12.0 PPG for Appalachian State last season

Murray State Head Coach Steve Prohm has made his first roster addition from the transfer portal for the 2024-25 season. Field of 68’s Jeff Goodman is reporting Appalachian State guard Terence Harcum has committed to the Racers.
Harcum, who was named 3rd Team All-Sun Belt Conference this past season, will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Last season, Harcum started 33 of 34 games for the Mountaineers, who won a Sun Belt Conference regular season championship. Harcum was third on App State in scoring with 12.0 points per game. The 6’3 guard shot 37.5% from the field, 35.6% from three-point range and 80.2% from the charity stripe.
Here’s a look at some of Harcum’s highlights from last season:
Harcum had 13 points in Appalachian State’s win over Murray State last season in Fort Myers, Florida. He scored in double-figures in 22 of 33 games, highlighted by a 26-point performance at Georgia Southern where he knocked down 5-of-8 three-pointers. In App State’s higher-profile games of the year, Harcum scored 18 points at Oregon State, 12 points vs. Auburn, and 14 points in the NIT against Wake Forest.
With Harcum’s addition, Prohm still has three more scholarships to fill for the 2024-25 season.
