Report: King signs with Murray State
MBB: King is the second former Creighton player Ryan Miller has signed to be a Racer

On3 Sports is reporting Creighton forward Fredrick King has signed with Murray State. King would join Mason Miller as former Bluejays who followed new Racer Head Coach, and former Creighton assistant, Ryan Miller to Murray.
Listed at 6’9 and 250 pounds, King will be able to bolster Murray State’s interior presence. In three years with Creighton, King played in 103 games, starting four times, while averaging 2.9 points and 7.0 minutes per game. He has played behind Creighton’s Ryan Kalkbrenner, who has been a three-time All-Big East standout and has been named Big East Defensive Player of the Year four different times.

In his career, King has made 61.7% (127-of-206) of his shots from the field. His best game of the season came on November 30th against Notre Dame, where he had 14 points, five rebounds and four blocks in 26 minutes of action.
Here are some highlights from King’s season:
With King’s reported signing, Murray State now has two players who are set to be on next year’s roster:
Mason Miller (6’9 senior guard)
Fredrick King (6’9 senior forward)
Here are the eight players who could return to the Racers next year, but have yet to make anything official:
Senior forward Alden Applewhite
Junior guard Patrick Chew
Senior forward Nick Ellington (has entered the transfer portal, but isn’t ruling out returning to Murray State)
Senior forward KyeRon Lindsay (has entered the transfer portal, but Murray State appears interested in bringing him back)
