Report: Lindsay entering transfer portal
MBB: The 6'7 forward played in 32 games for the Racers this season

Verbal Commits is reporting Murray State junior forward KyeRon Lindsay intends to enter the transfer portal. The portal officially opens on March 24th.
After playing sparingly in his first two college seasons at Georgia and Texas Tech, Lindsay joined Murray State for the 2024-25 season. In 32 games with the Racers, Lindsay averaged 6.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
The highlight of Lindsay’s season was on November 16th at Middle Tennessee, where he scored 27 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out four assists and blocked five shots.
In the wake of Murray State announcing on Monday the hiring of Ryan Miller as the program’s new head coach, Lindsay is the second Racer in as many days to decide to enter the portal. Verbal Commits reported yesterday that freshman forward John McCrear will look for a new basketball home next season.
At this moment, these are the only scholarship players from this past season who could still potentially return for next year:
Alden Applewhite (rising senior, 5.8 points per game this season)
Justin Morgan (rising senior, 2.4 points per game)
Jordan McCullum (rising sophomore, 1.6 points per game)
Patrick Chew (rising junior, 0.3 points per game)
Chiang Ring (rising sophomore, 0.3 points per game)
I hate to hear this.
