Ring says he has committed to Racers
MBB: The 6'8 forward will fill the final Murray State scholarship for 2024-25
Chiang Ring, a 6’8 forward from Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced on Instagram Tuesday night he has committed to play his college basketball at Murray State.
ESPN, 247 Sports and On3Sports all have Ring listed as a 3-star prospect in the Class of 2024. In the Class of 2024, On3 has Ring rated as the 219th best high school senior in the country, the 44th best power forward nationally, and the #7 prospect out of Minnesota.
Ring averaged better than 19 points, ten rebounds and three blocked shots per game last season for Park Center High School in Minneapolis.

Before he committed to Murray State, according to his X/Twitter account, Ring says he had offers from Arizona State, New Mexico, Eastern Michigan, Arkansas State, UT Arlington, Chattanooga, Sam Houston State, San Diego, North Dakota, Montana and Northern Arizona.
Ring’s commitment now fills all 13 of Murray State’s scholarships heading into next season. Here’s a look at the roster as it currently sits:
