MBB: Murray State is #221 in the first release of the NET rankings
The NCAA released their first NET Rankings of the season on Monday, and the Missouri Valley Conference is currently rated as the 9th-best conference in the country. The NET is the primary computer metric used to help determine the NCAA Tournament field.
Here’s how the 12 Missouri Valley teams ranked in the opening rankings:
Indiana State (7-1 overall, 2-0 MVC)
UIC (5-3 overall, 0-1 MVC)
Drake (7-1 overall, 2-0 MVC)
Southern Illinois (5-2 overall, 0-1 MVC)
Bradley (6-2 overall, 0-2 MVC)
Evansville (7-1 overall, 1-1 MVC)
Missouri State (6-2 overall, 1-1, MVC)
Belmont (6-3 overall, 2-0 MVC)
Illinois State (5-3 overall, 2-0 MVC)
Northern Iowa (2-6 overall, 0-2 MVC)
Murray State (3-4 overall, 1-1 MVC)
