Shine decommits from Murray State
MBB: The Racers now have one open scholarship for the 2024-25 season
DJ Shine, who signed with Murray State back in November, announced on X/Twitter today that he has been granted a release from his National Letter of Intent.
“To begin, I would like to express my gratitude and show my thanks to the Murray State basketball staff and fan base for embracing me as a Racer,” Shine wrote in his social media post. '“I wish nothing but the best for Racer Nation and want them to succeed at the highest level. After much thought, prayer, and extensive conversation with my family, I will be decommitting from Murray State University and was granted a release of my National Letter of Intent.”
With Shine’s departure, Murray State Head Coach Steve Prohm once again has one scholarship to fill to complete next year’s roster.
