Shine is a McDonald's All-American nominee

MBB: The 6'1 guard from Augusta, Georgia signed with Murray State in November

DJ Shine, part of Steve Prohm’s 2024 recruiting class, has been named a McDonald’s All-American nominee.

Shine, who is from Augusta, Georgia but is playing his senior season at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, is one of six players from Brewster who earned their nomination.

Rivals has Shine listed as a 3-star prospect, one of the Top 150 players overall and the 34th-best point guard in the country in the Class of 2024.

Shine joins Jordan McCullum as the two players who have signed to be a part of Murray State’s 2024 recruiting class.
