Simmons says he has Murray State offer
MBB: The 6'6 forward was named Mr. Basketball in Mississippi's Class 3A
Kedrick Simmons, a 6’6 forward from Booneville, Mississippi, posted on X/Twitter on Sunday that he has received a scholarship offer from Murray State.
Simmons just wrapped up his junior season of high school basketball, where he helped lead Booneville to a third-straight Mississippi Class 3A state championship. He was also named Mr. Basketball in Mississippi’s Class 3A. At the time of the award, Simmons was averaging 18 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals per game this season.
247 Sports has Simmons listed as a 3-star recruit. In the Class of 2025, the scouting service has Simmons ranked as the #2 player in Mississippi, and the #56 small forward in the country.
According to Simmons X/Twitter account, he now has scholarship offers from Murray State, Tennessee Tech, Southern Miss and Mississippi State.
