Spink says she's coming to Murray State
WBB: Spink is the third 2025 recruit to publicly commit to the Racers
Gabby Spink, a rising senior from southern Indiana, announced on social media she has committed to play her college basketball at Murray State.
Spink helped lead Gibson Southern High School to an Indiana Class 3A state championship back in February. It was the first state title in program history. The 5’9 guard averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists last season. The Evansville Courier & Press voted Spink the All-Southwestern Indiana Player of the Year.
According to Spink’s X/Twitter page, she also held scholarship offers from Bradley, Southern Indiana, Purdue Fort Wayne, Evansville, Bellarmine and Robert Morris.
Brandon Clay of ProspectNations.com wrote the following about Spink: “She has blossomed into the player I projected and then some. In this setting, it was evident that she has filled out through her shoulders. That allows her the strength to consistently get her shot off quickly and consistently with a bump in traffic. When at her best, Spink is a willing scorer whose athletic explosiveness is impressive.”
Spink is now the third Class of 2025 recruit to publicly commit to Murray State, joining Brooke Nichelson and Jaidynn Askins.
Keep bringing in those Indiana girls!
