Stark scores 12 points in final exhibition win

MBB: Hapoel Haifa opens their 2023-24 season on Monday

Jonathan Stark scored 12 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out nine assists to help Hapoel Haifa beat Hapoel Galil Alyon, 88-72, in the final exhibition game before the regular season starts next Monday.

The Murray State Hall of Famer got the start for Hapoel Haifa. The team is part of the Israeli Super League — the top-tier of professional basketball in Israel. Hapoel Haifa has never won a Super League championship, and the last time they were league runners-up was in the 1961-62 season.

Hapoel Haifa will take on Hapoel Jerusalem next Monday in the season opener for both teams.
