Stewart commits to Missouri State
WBB: The former Racer will have three years of eligibility with the Lady Bears
Ten days after announcing she was entering the transfer portal, Zoe Stewart has a new basketball home.
The former Murray State guard announced Friday night on X/Twitter she will be staying in the Missouri Valley Conference as she has committed to Missouri State.
After sitting out the 2022-23 season, Stewart made an immediate impact in her first collegiate game at Arkansas as she scored a career-high 19 points back on November 10th. As a redshirt freshman, Stewart averaged 8.9 points per game, shooting 39.2% from the field and 28.2% from the three-point line this past season. Stewart also averaged 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game this year.
Stewart’s last game in a Murray State uniform came against Missouri State in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament quarterfinals earlier this month. She’ll now join the Lady Bears with three years of eligibility remaining.
