Appreciate the interview, definitely need more of this out to the fan base. Not just here, but for ALL fan bases.

One thing I'm curios about, as I'm ignorant of the workings of all of the economics of the pro game of men's/women's basketball. Is there a similar "model" already in place at the NBA level that is analogous to these NIL Collectives that are now forming up around college B'ball programs? If so, I've never seen it reported before. If the college level is going all in on "pro-lite", so to speak, is it that these Collectives are now acting almost as a sports agent for college players, because it REALLY sounds more and more that this is what it is.

I'm all for the student athletes getting compensation for putting their talent out there for all of us spectators to enjoy, and I do not believe that a 4-year full ride for education is fair compensation, in light of the Billions of $$$ that they are generating for the NCAA, the schools they play for, the head coaches they play for, the sports TV channels, and all the sponsors. But, this seems like a REALLY weird and convoluted way to do it all. The Transfer Portal just kicks the weirdness and instability to the next, next, next level.

I really don't think I'd want anyone else leading the athletic department. He's just a good dude.
