With the transfer portal officially opening on Monday, there is another name for Murray State fans to keep an eye on. The Portal Report (@ThePortalReport on X/Twitter) is reporting Milos Vicentic, after entering the transfer portal, has heard from more than a dozen schools — including Murray State.
After playing in just 14 games in his first two seasons at Division II McKendree, the native of Belgrade, Serbia led the Bearcats in scoring with 17.2 points per game as a junior in 2022-23. This season, Vicentic improved to 21.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. He shot 53.3% from the field, 41.2% from beyond the arc and 79.4% from the free throw line. Vicentic scored 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting in an exhibition game with Northwestern this season.
Vicentic told The Portal Report he has also heard from Bradley, Wyoming, Furman, Colorado State, SIUE among others. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
