
Missouri Valley Conference media members voted Illinois State’s Chase Walker the captain of the Valley’s Most Improved Team for this season. After averaging 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds last season, Walker saw his production jump to 15.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season, as he started 29 of 30 games for the Redbirds.
