For the second-straight year, admission into Murray State women’s basketball games will cost you nothing.
CFSB is once again stepping in as the presenting sponsor for the 2024-25 season to allow Racer fans to come watch Murray State’s women play free of charge.
Murray State Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said attendance for the 2023-24 season was up 41% over the year prior. Yantko added that this move will help to continue growing the program and support for the Racers.
To show the home attendance growth during Rechelle Turner’s tenure, the Racers averaged 624 fans. Last season, an average of 1,520 fans watched Murray State play at the CFSB Center — that’s an overall increase of 244%.
Last season, the Racers went 20-12 overall as Murray State earned a spot in the WNIT.
